New Year

New Year

Well, a new year is upon us!  Most people usually make some health based resolutions, I must admit that mine is to use a kettle bell for working out…..ha, ha, let you know how that goes!  This year, how about making a different kind of resolution, a socially conscious one?

Many of the fashion products we buy are made in sweatshops in terrible conditions.  Some people even LIVE at the factories they must labour in!  Why not make the resolution to try to buy more local handmade fashion products?  All the items in my boutique have been made with love by people who want to make them!  Not to mention, the quality of craftsmanship is amazing :)  Support a Canadian artisan and wear it with pride!

Happy New Year to you all!

Hi everyone!  Well, here goes blogging :)

Welcome and I hope you will enjoy….

Guess my first entry will be about why I started this business.  Number one was having my son.  I realized that I have to do everything I can to make a better world for him and his generation!  Number two was loving beauty and fashion.  I could never really get into beauty and fashion because it was such a wasteful, throw away, socially unconscious culture!  But now I can participate because I have found that it can be sustainable, conscious and fun!

You will find future posts about not only fashion trends….but vegetarianism, social justice and living clean.  Thanks for coming, hope you will enjoy :)
